The Statue of Liberty has reopened after undergoing security upgrades and renovations for more than two years. Visitors can enter the pedestal of the statue, which has a new glass ceiling allowing for views of the interior. From the statue's observation deck, located 16 stories above New York Harbor, visitors can experience 360-degree views of New York City. Tickets for the Statue of Liberty can be purchased at Castle Clinton National Monument in Battery Park or by calling 866-STATUE-4 (866-782-8834). Timed-pass tickets are required and a limited number of daily walk-in tickets are available at the Circle Line ferry office at no additional cost.
